1. Scope and responsible company
This notice describes browser storage on the latency.date landing pages, operated by TRUSTED TECHNOLOGIES Sp. z o.o., ul. Łódzka 8/12, lok. 8.18, 42-202 Częstochowa, Polska. Contact: legal@latency.date · +48 880 500 421. Cookies, localStorage and similar technologies may store identifiers or other information on your device; that information can be personal data.
The WHMCS customer area is a separate interface with its own session, security, verification and payment functions. Its applicable notice and consent controls must be consulted when using it. Visiting a landing page does not load hCaptcha or Stripe scripts or authorise optional technologies in the customer area.
2. Necessary storage and delivery
The localStorage entry latency-consent records version 1 of your choice, the preferences and analytics flags, and updatedAt. It is retained for up to 180 days after the choice is saved, then a new choice is requested. It is used to respect your selection and does not itself enable analytics. It does not refresh simply because you browse another page.
Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and may use security mechanisms where necessary for the requested service. Any device storage must meet the applicable necessity exemption or be subject to consent as appropriate; this notice does not claim that every Cloudflare product sets a cookie. Necessary storage is limited to delivering the requested function or remembering your privacy choice. It is not used as permission for advertising or optional analytics.
Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law distinguishes necessary storage/access from optional technologies requiring prior information and consent. Browser controls can block or remove storage, including necessary entries, although doing so may affect functions or cause the consent question to appear again.
3. Optional appearance preferences
Only if you accept the preferences category do we save latency-theme in localStorage. Its value is light or dark. It remembers the selected appearance until you withdraw that permission or the associated consent expires after at most 180 days. Without permission, you can still change the appearance during the current visit without saving that choice for a later visit.
Language is represented in the page URL. We do not store a separate language preference in cookies or localStorage. Declining appearance storage does not limit access to content or services.
4. Optional Google Analytics
Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept the analytics category. Before a choice, and after rejection, no Google Analytics script is loaded by the landing pages. Analytics helps measure page use and improve the site using pseudonymous identifiers and information about visits and interactions. Advertising signals and advertising personalisation are disabled; no marketing integration is enabled by these settings.
When enabled, Google Analytics may set _ga and a property-specific _ga_<ID> cookie. Their configured maximum lifetime is 180 days, with automatic lifetime renewal on page views disabled. This is the lifetime of the browser identifiers, not a statement that every record held by Google has the same retention period. Google processing and any international transfers are described in the privacy notice.
5. Accepting, rejecting and withdrawing
The consent interface lets you accept all optional categories, reject them, or select preferences and analytics separately. Optional categories are not preselected. Browsing, scrolling or closing a page is not consent. You can reopen cookie settings from the footer and change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it.
Withdrawal prevents further optional collection and removes the optional storage under our site's control, including a saved theme when preferences are withdrawn. It does not retroactively invalidate processing already carried out with consent. You may also clear site data in your browser; this removes the stored choice and causes the site to ask again. Blocking third-party storage does not replace the site's prior-consent requirement.
6. Further information and changes
The privacy notice explains the controller, recipients, legal bases, international transfers and your data-protection rights. You may contact us about the technologies used or complain to UODO at https://uodo.gov.pl. Requests concerning personal data already collected are handled under the applicable data-protection rules.
If the purposes or optional technologies materially change, we provide updated information and obtain a new choice where required before enabling them. New optional processing is not authorised merely by updating this notice.
